StadiX

Overview

StadiX was born from the idea of creating a dynamic app for sports fans and venue operators to enhance interaction during event downtimes. Designed to bridge the gap between fans and arenas or stadiums, StadiX aims to engage audiences during halftime or timeouts. It provides users with instant access to essential information such as restroom locations, food options, and venue details, all from the palm of their hand. Gone are the days of awkwardly asking where amenities are located. StadiX also functions as a comprehensive hub for event information and offers features for connecting with friends and family through location sharing and social interactions.

Goal

The goal of this project is to enhance customer and fan engagement during event downtime. Our app aims to keep everyone connected and informed by providing all the details they need for the event they are attending. Additionally, it rewards users with points for actions like ordering food, purchasing tickets, or sharing photos on the app. We recognize that buying tickets for a group can be challenging, often resulting in separated seating. To address this, the app includes a feature for sharing locations with friends and family, making it easier to meet up during halftime or for a drink, and capture moments together to share.

The company was developing this app in an ongoing project.

Research

We conducted thorough research to identify the problem. We surveyed attendees to understand why people go to live events, what keeps them engaged in the stadium or arena what makes an app engaging, and what encourages repeat usage. We also investigated when attendees were abandoning the game for their phones and which apps they were using. By asking these questions, we aimed to determine how attendees at sports games can feel more connected and engaged. This research was crucial in identifying the key issues and guiding our app design process.

Our goal was to design a user-friendly welcome screen that ensures a seamless and engaging experience. The home page is intuitively organized to provide users with everything they need for a 10/10 experience, offering easy access to key features and essential information right at their fingertips.

Location Filter.

Based on our research, we aimed to provide efficient way to search for events by region. The location filter allows users to browse a list of arenas and stadiums within their selected region. Additionally, for those who prefer a more direct search.
